The piece Misophonia: Oral Oddities & Other Annoyances was recently featured on the Wave Farm program Radio Art Hour, produced by Bianca Biberaj, in collaboration with Wave Farm Radio Art Fellows and Artists-in-residence. Currently, misophonia lacks a scientifically accepted treatment, and its clinical classification status remains debated. However, a growing number of studies on several fronts are attempting to understand the causes of this condition from neurological, psychological, behavioral, and sociological perspectives. This piece explores the topic of misophonia by blurring the lines between auditory experiences of easy-listening and extreme irritation.
